APPLY TO AUDITION

All entry to Renaissance Arts Conservatoire is via a practical Audition.

Your Audition day will include participation in classes alongside our current students so that you can get a feel for our training environment, and end with a 121 meeting with faculty to discuss your application and offer some feedback.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Dance Applicants:

Applicants must prepare a ‘Dance Solo’ approximately 90 seconds in length. The content for the solo is the candidates’ choice.

Please bring your track on a mobile device such as a phone or tablet (fully downloaded and on airplane mode).

Musical Theatre Applicants:

Applicants must prepare a ‘Vocal Solo’ & ‘Monologue’. A Dance Solo is optional. Should you wish to perform a dance solo please inform us in writing at least one week before your Audition date.

Vocal – Please email your sheet music (approximately 32 bars), and bring along a backing track on the day on a mobile device.

Sheet music to be scanned and emailed no later than 48 hours before the audition.

Monologue- Please bring a copy of your script (approximately 60 seconds).

We want you to enjoy your Auditon day! The faculty and Directors are looking at your individual potential both practically and personally, so give it your all. Our company of students is rich in talent for its diversity and training you up to the industry standard is what we do, should you be offered a place and accept.

IF YOU CAN’T ATTEND IN PERSON:

Candidates who cannot attend in person can send a digital self tape (please contact us for more information on how to apply via this route).

CAMPUS AUDITION APPLICATION:

Complete the application form below and submit the £25.00 Audition Fee.

Once received, you will receive an email acknowledgement and invitation to attend our next available Audition day, in person at our central Leeds Campus.

AUDITION PROCESS CAMPUS AUDITION APPLICATION FORM DIGITAL AUDITION APPLICATION FORM DEADLINES

CAMPUS AUDITION APPLICATION:

1. Register to Audition by completing the Application Form and paying the £25.00 Fee.

2. Once both the Application Form and Fee have been received, you will be invited to a Campus Audition at the next available date via email, explaining what to prepare and how the day will run.

AUDITION DAY INCLUDES

Participation in classes with our faculty
Meeting with Directors for feedback and advice
Solo presentations in Dance, or Vocals & Monologue (with optional Dance).

DIGITAL AUDITION APPLICATION:

1. Prepare your self tapes using the guidance for what to submit on the Digital Audition application form.

2. Complete the digital audition application form including the links for the Directors to view your self tapes. Also submit the £25.00 Audition Fee.

3. Once both the Application Form and Fee have been received, the Directors will review the submission.
