Neil Westmorland
Contemporary

Classical ballet performance credits: Principal and soloist highlights for Northern Ballet Theatre include: recreating the role of Lieutenant Pinkerton in David Nixon’s UK premiere of Madame Butterfly; Romeo and Paris in Massimo Morricone’s Romeo and Juliet; Pip in Stephano Gianetti’s Great Expectations; Mr. Hyde in Morricone’s Jekyll and Hyde; Pablo in Didy Veldman’s A Streetcar named Desire; Escamillo in Didy Veldman’s Carmen; Quincy in Michael Pink’s Dracula.
English National Ballet highlights include: Lord Capulet in Derek Deane’s Romeo and Juliet at The Royal Albert Hall; Bigonzetti’s XNTricities; Balanchine’s Who Cares? plus ENB’s extensive classical repertoire at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and London Coliseum.
Danielle Hampson
Commercial
Danielle joined the UK/Europe and international touring company of Thriller Live as resident director and dance captain. This acted as a great platform into the commercial industry and she went on to perform on high profile TV shows and events such as X factor, BGT, The Voice and The Brit awards. Dancing alongside Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Olly Murs, to name just a few.
In the past year or 2 Danielle has been lucky enough to land various commercial pop tours with the likes of Girls Aloud, X factor, Kylie Minogue, Big Reunion, Take That and “Let it Shine”.
Martin Howland
Ballet
Martin Howland was born in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, and trained at The Elwyn school of Dance and also performed with The Northern Ballet in ‘A Simple Man’. At the age of 11 Martin was accepted to the ‘Royal Ballet School’ and began 5 years of classical training at White Lodge in Richmond Park. During his training Martin performed with The Royal Ballet Company in various productions including ‘The Prince of the Pagodas’ and ‘The Nutcracker’. After graduating from the lower school Martin continued his professional training at The Royal Ballet Upper School for a further 2 years, whilst continuing to work with the company in numerous productions including, Romeo & Juliet, Petrushka, La Valse and Cinderella. Martin graduated the Royal Ballet School in 1995. Martin began his career in Germany dancing for the ‘Deutsche Oper am Rhein’ in Dusseldorf working for director Heinz Spoerli in productions such as Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Goldberg Variations.
Upon leaving Germany, Martin returned to the U.K to join City Ballet of London as a soloist for 3 years. Harold King created the role of the betrayed soldier in ‘Carmen’ for him. He also performed in several touring productions of ‘Cinderella’,’ Les Patineurs’ and a new production of ‘The Sleeping Beauty’. A change of direction followed as Martin played the role of the ‘Slave master’ in Cameron Mackintosh’s national tour of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, after which new horizon’s beckoned and Martin moved to Japan to join Tetsuya Kumakawa’s K-Ballet in Tokyo where Martin danced various soloist roles in ballet’s such as ‘Raymonda’, ‘Facade’, and ‘Giselle’. Continuing to work in the Far East he was offered contracts to perform as an International Guest Principal Dancer and played the lead role of the Prince in productions of Swan Lake and Nutcracker.
Further tour’s of Europe continued as a guest principal with various companies before Martin finally moved to Cape Town City Ballet to play the Prince in the companies production of ‘The Sleeping Beauty’. Shortly after Martin began teaching and coaching for the West End musical ‘Billy Elliot’ and still to this day works on the development of the young dancers aspiring to perform in the show. Teaching in various colleges and dance schools in London, Martin was both performing and teaching professional open-classes at Danceworks in central London. Martin has lectured on numerous occasions, choreographed, achieved honours in his teaching qualifications and specialises in Classical Ballet, Pas De Deux, Repertoire and Coaching.
Stillie Dee
Jazz
Stillie has worked extensively both in the U.K. and Internationally as a Choreographer, working for leading Producers and Directors in all aspects of Theatre, T.V and Commercials. As a choreographer she has worked all over the World and in many of Britain’s most Prestigious Theatres involving, National U.K. Tours, Concerts and Summer Seasons, she also creates many varied productions and ensemble pieces for principal Cruise Lines.
In the commercial field Stillie has choreographed Corporate Trade/Fashion Shows, International Tours, Hair shows in London and at the N.E.C. for L’Oreal and Vidal Sassoon. Her work has also been televised in promo videos for M.T.V.
Stillie is also one of QDOS Entertainments top choreographers working all over the U.K in their No 1 theatres working with an endless list celebrities, such as Julian Clarey, Brian Conley, Lesley Joseph, David Essex, Joe McElderry, Darren Day to name but a few.
Stillie won the ” Le Classique De Dance Award” for theatre choreographer of the year in 2015. Stillie is committed to training aspiring students to go into the profession. Teaching alongside a world-renowned faculty nurturing our performers and stars of the future.
INDUSTRY BASED CLASSES
Industry-based classes taught by established lecturers currently working as performers, choreographers and directors. We are extremely proud of both our permanent and guest faculty, providing a challenging and highly rewarding day. This is the perfect open day opportunity for students who wish to experience a day in the life at R/A college.

*Classes will be split into appropriate age groups and ability, minimum age 12+ Masterclasses are aimed at performers with an existing strong dance background, looking for an extra challenge. Classes will be pitched to advanced professional standard.
