Whilst studying for his Music degree at South Tyneside College Uncle Sam’s Recording Studio in Newcastle awarded him a management deal. Performing and recording for industry standard artists and labels he quickly gained respect for his musical arrangement and began performing and recording alongside artists such as The Lighthouse Family, Cheryl Cole (nee tweedy), Jools Holland and Grammy award winning producer Steve Robson to name but a few at the age of 18.

After touring, recording and arranging for four years internationally Neil attended teacher training at South Tyneside College. He then went on to lecture as a peripatetic teacher working and providing various master classes at various colleges and schools in the North East as a music teacher

“The Music Study is an exciting project with a view to franchise throughout the U.K.  The LEARN, STUDY and CREATE philosophy focuses on the individual student and adapts a learning programme to suit the individuals needs. People learn in different ways and The Music Study offers both vocational and academic options. Talent manifests itself by the individuals own delight in their work and I believe that dedication to ones profession is only successful by carefully harnessing the strengths of a students aspirations.”
